Once you've formed your group, decided what you're going to do, and how you're going to do it, you're ready to get to work.

You may want start by focusing on creating change directly and using the resources of the group. In fact, some groups may decide that they only want to do these types of things. Small local actions such as these can make neighbourhoods great places to live!

Some groups may also want to think about advocating for bigger changes which will take a lot longer than the first - which is why we have a whole section on getting more help.

But, to get you started, we've also included in this section some principles to guide you as you prepare to change your neighbourhood.
