VicRoads encourages the public to provide them with information about hazards, and has a 24-hour contact telephone number (13 11 70).
Sometimes an issue can be resolved simply by a phone call. If the problem is more complex, or requires extra resourcing, VicRoads may ask you to provide them with something in writing (you might like to use our template letter).
Or you could submit an online question through the VicRoads online feedback and enquiries system. If you do this, it is always a good idea to keep a copy of what you sent for your own reference.
If you’re not seeing any action from your initial contact with VicRoads, see the drumming up support section for ideas on how to get an advocacy campaign going.
