One of the best ways to get children on their feet and walking to school is to make it fun, keep it simple and walk with their friends.
Talk to other local parents to about starting a Walk Together Group and sharing the trip to school, imagine how much time you will save on your days off! When children are ready they can then walk as a group without parents.

More than 80% of participating schools want more information and activities to encourage children to walk more often. This is a great sign that our communities are keen to encourage children to become more physically active.
