This innovative, easy-to-use website brings together a range of maps for different purposes. Whether you want to explore what is at your own doorstep, take a scenic stroll around Victoria's premier destinations or schedule a 30-minute walking meeting around your workplace, this site will excite and inspire you to explore Victoria on foot.
Walking Maps is all about increasing the number of people who walk every day, whether for recreation, fitness or simply to get from A to B. The website is aimed at encouraging healthy living and community connection as well as building an ever-growing community of walkers.

Our custom built website is based on Google Maps, making it easy for you to create your walk route, include photos, mark particular points of interest and include information about your walk. You can also mark any non-road paths and report any hazards. Once a walk is published, you can print and share the walk by email, Facebook and Twitter.
There are several ways to discover walks:
Once you've created a walk, or if you'fe found a walk that you'd love to tell the world, walks can easily be shared at the click of a button - on Facebook, Twitter and email.
